Presedia Express 3.0 builds on the multimedia content authoring, management and delivery functionality provided in previous versions. The latest version offers a course management module for administering the entire compliance and certification process from user enrollment and notification to automated reminders and detailed report tracking. Additional features include group management, user self-registration, and certificate reports. These new features leverage Presedia's PowerPoint to Flash course and quiz authoring technology with synchronized audio narration, to allow the management and delivery of interactive multimedia courses through most Web browsers.
Following is an overview of the four major components and technology behind Presedia Express 3.0.
Course Management:
Courses can now be deployed with the new integrated course management module. This module includes user enrollment, E-Mail notification, automatic reminders and detailed tracking and reporting to assist trainers and managers.
Rapid Authoring Within PowerPoint:
Working within the PowerPoint environment users can record audio, synchronize slide animations and integrate quizzes to create dynamic multimedia courses.
Content Management:
The Content Manager provides a repository for companies to create and collect their online content. Using the integrated Presedia Express content library managers, trainers, and subject matter experts can organize, store, and update their multimedia training content.
Delivery Manager:
Presedia Express manages the delivery of your online multimedia content with features like integrated security and tracking. Presedia Express also supports a number of different delivery mechanisms, allowing your content to be delivered via the Internet, your intranet, or a learning management system.
