Amika Enterprise Edition Server

The Amika Enterprise Edition Server provides corporate workers with the ability to auto filter and "abbreviate" messages that are sent to them on a daily basis. The product includes a wireless E-Mail Notification Engine, and as such is expected to be especially useful for mobile users, allowing them to retrieve abbreviated E-Mail messages or message "Highlights" on their wireless devices.

The main components of the Amika Enterprise Edition Server are the aforementioned wireless E-Mail Notification Engine, AmikaHighlighter which allows for the receipt of shortened message "highlights" (which in turn allow users to receive and organize shortened forms of their E-Mails for faster processing); and MessageBack, technology that allows Mobile users to delete, forward, reply to, or view the entire contents of E-Mail messages they receive via their wireless devices.

The Amika Enterprise Edition Server is installed behind the corporate firewall, and can be utilized in concert with other E-Mail servers; including Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Domino. Expected to be launched in three phases over the course of 2001, the second release plans to include expanded personalization and enterprise management features.
