Simkl Tray provides access to the vendor's Simkl IM History Viewer from your PC.
Simkl allows you to consolidate multiple IMs, including ICQ, AIM, Yahoo, or MSN. It is a Web application that collects instant messaging conversations into a searchable archive that can be accessed online.
It is possible to generate history for chosen contacts only, or search for the newest conversations. History Viewer is equipped with Interactive Full Text Search, and a list of your backed up contacts that can be sorted by last conversation, Nickname or by IM's ID.
IM history is automatically saved on Simkl's servers. The vendor states that it does not need any software installed.
Compatible IM clients include: iChat for Mac OS X; AIM v5.9 or lower and v6.5.4.16; multiple ICQ; MSN v4-9; Yahoo! Messenger and more (see vendor's Web site for full list).
Simkl Tray is free for Simkl users. Tray features include a keyboard shortcut ("Windows+h") for access to history.im; the ability to make the Simkl Tray icon invisible; the ability to set up an additional link to any Web site; and the ability to automatically log in with your username and password.
