AimSoft's softphone lets clients make VoIP calls through their PC to any telephone in the world, using the service provider's gateway.

AIM-SoftPhone delivers SIP-based communications and services in a software-based phone for PC to Phone, Phone to PC and PC to PC services. AIM-Softphone is designed with SIP technology (SIP 2.0), NAT module (so it can operate through NAT and packet firewalls) with g723.1 codec (works with 6.3k) and a bandwidth control module (for changing codecs on the fly).

Other features include a Microsoft based SIP Stack and support for customized SIP parsing.
