WebIdeaTree (WIT) is an information manager and a Web site builder that allows you to create, organize and maintain your Web or Intranet site. The author describes it as an automatic Web site generator.

Working from a single site content/source file and CSS templates, you can produce a Web site with the look and feel that you want. WIT builds the full site from a single source file.

Tools include: WYSIWYG editor, embedded background and graphics functions, global search and replace for entire site, a site outliner or taxonomy-builder, a built-in site indexing module (with a controlled vocabulary function), and auto-upload via FTP. Plus you can copy and paste from your word processor, browser, or whatever. You can create or update a site with one click.

Targeted usages include both Pro and personal scenarios, including knowledge management, intranets, E-books, glossaries, etc.
