WebService Cruiser

Web Based XML/SOAP Testing Tool

WebService Cruiser is a testing tool that is designed to test text-in and text-out based Web services and applications, especially XML and SOAP Web services/applications. Using WebService Cruiser, you can not only test the service or application's logic, but also test their performance--you can submit the same request multiple times sequentially or concurrently, therefore you can test the application's average response time, as well as the behavior under a high number of concurrent users.

Since WebService Cruiser is a Web application, it only needs to be installed once on a server, then anyone can access it to test their Web services/applications via browsers without installing any software on the desktop computers.

WebService Cruiser is built by using Servlet, JSP, HTML and JavaScript, but no applet. It can be run on any platforms which can run Java, including Windows NT/2000/98, Linux, Solaris, AIX, and HP-UX.

Major features:

- Supports both HTTP and HTTPS for target URLs

- Submit the same request multiple time (up to 500 times), either sequentially or concurrently

- For multiple sequential submitting, you can select to display all output, first output, last output, or display time only

- Displays both total time and average time per request for multiple sequential submission. For multiple concurrent submission, it displays total time

- Test both POST and GET methods

- Input can be XML, SOAP or other text

- Save input and output to local files, and load them back in the future. View input and output history, and save them to local files.
