Datamata

Datamata is a web-based database access tool. It allows anyone with a web browser to work with any SQL database from anywhere in the company or virtually from anywhere in the world through the Internet.

Datamata not only provides an SQL Pad interface, where SQL statements can be entered and executed, but also includes an advanced data maintenance form, where data can be queried and modified in a graphical manner without any knowledge of SQL.

Datamata has to be installed once on a server, then this single instance can provide access to dozens of databases for dozens of users. The users do not have to have any other software installed on their machines, but a web browser(Internet Explorer, Netscape, Opera, or Mozilla). The advanced security allows ample flexibility on configuring user/database permissions.
