CASE Studio 2

CASE Studio 2 is a database designing tool that allows you to visually create Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD) for various database systems. It includes full support of the following databases: Oracle, DB2, MS SQL, InterBase, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Sybase ASE, MS Access, Firebird, Ingres, Informix, Pervasive V8, DBISAM and several others. When creating ERDs the program considers individual database options such as referential integrity, constraints, domains, triggers, user permissions, etc.

CASE Studio 2 provides a gallery for saving and storing most frequently used parts of models or a dictionary with predefined user data types. Data flows between tables can also be described by creating appropriate Data Flow Diagrams (DFD).

Other features include: Universal reverse engineering, which allows you to reverse engineer an already existing database structure; version manager; creation of detailed HTML and RTF reports; generation of SQL scripts; comparing ER-diagrams; conversion of ER diagram into other databases; pattern editor for triggers, views and stored procedures; support of JScript and VBScript; export of diagrams into graphic files; and more.

Case Studio 2 is available in full and lite versions. Features of the Lite version include:

New features in the latest release include: Full support for MS SQL 2005/Sybase ASE 15; a new way to generate HTML reports; and enhancements for MS SQL 2000, PostgreSQL 8/ 7.4, Firebird, InterBase 7, InterBase 6 SQL 3, InterBase 6 SQL 1, Max DB 7.6, and Access 97/2000.
