LinMin Bare Metal Provisioning

Bare Metal Provisioning of Windows and Linux Systems, VMs

LinMin Bare Metal Provisioning (LBMP) allows for the unattended, remote, native OS installation of Windows/Linux servers, blades, PCs and VMs. It is priced at $3 per system per year (perpetual licenses also available). In addition to doing native operating system installation onto bare metal, LinMin can also capture, restore and clone entire disk images.

LBMP runs on Red Hat Enterprise Linux or CentOS, and the vendor states that it takes less than 5 minutes to install. Once installed, you can upload media for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3, 4 and 5, CentOS 4 and 5, Novell SLES 10 (including Service Pack 2), Microsoft Windows 2003 Server, Ubuntu, Fedora and more.

Features include:

- Create "Roles" such as "Red Hat App Server," "SLES DB Server," "Windows Web Server," "CentOS DNS Server," "Fedora Firewall" or "Ubuntu Desktop"

- Deploy with "Fire and Forget Provisioning" rules

- Support for "On the Fly Provisioning" for mass deployments

LinMin Bare Metal Provisioning is served with subscription-based or perpetual licensing. Subscription pricing is $100/year for 10 systems, $400/year for 100 systems, and $750/year for 250 systems. Perpetual licenses are $250 (10 systems), $1,000 (100 systems), and $1,875 (250 systems).
