WorkZone

WorkZone is a Web-based project management tool that brings project management capabilities to the typical business user. It includes project management tools including durations and task dependencies; and is billed by the vendor as an alternative to Microsoft Project.

Designed specifically for non-project managers, Project Tracker can be set up and maintained by non-technical business professionals. Projects are organized into multiple levels of tasks, with each task assigned one or more responsible parties. Responsible parties update task status and information, with updates automatically available to the extended project team.

Tasks may be linked to associated documents stored in WorkZone's Document Manager module for reference to the latest version of files.

Repetitive tasks may be organized within project templates.

A Gantt chart view allows for a graphical view of projects, phases and tasks across time.

Different views allow for looking across projects and filtering for tasks within projects.
