Intellitactics Security Manager

Intellitactics Security Manager is a security management platform for security operations and corporate risk officers that combines security event management with security information management. Security Manager integrates several applications that consolidate security events, generate and rank actionable security alerts, provide reports to validate controls and deliver security assurance metrics for executive decision making.

Security Manager introduces the ability to monitor and report on control performance. It analyzes security events and escalates events as alerts that notify analysts of control violations or exceptions. Controls provide guidance for enforcing policy. This capability combines with Security Manager's event monitoring, ability to prioritize alerts based on automated risk scoring, and incident management. Security Manager automatically escalates security events to control alerts and adds control ids to alerts. Security Manager's meta-controls catalogue is a superset of controls from frameworks such as NIST, COBIT and ISO 17799.

Intellitactics SAM, a component of the Security Manager suite, visualizes information used to make decisions relative to implementing the security strategy. It is a dashboard designed for executives and business stakeholders who need to know that risk management policies are keeping information confidential, financial transactions safe and the infrastructure available for the business of the company or agency.

SAM differs from operational dashboards in that it displays security assurance metrics comprised of measures generated by Security Manager and other sources.
