Radion Load Balancing Servers

Cluster Your Current Web Servers

The Radion Load Balancing Server is a load balancing system based around Red Hat's HA Server software. It gives you the ability to make a collection of servers appear as one, and distribute the work load across these systems. These systems can be running Web server, FTP server, or mail server software and share the demand for these services. This can provide reliability through great redundancy of the systems and also provides performance levels unachievable before. The Radion Load Balancing Server is based on Linux, but does not require the collection of servers to be running Linux. They can be mixed running various OSs like Windows NT, Unix, FreeBSD, or Linux.

The Radion Load Balancing Server attaches to your network and to a private network where the collection of servers are attached. When incoming requests come in the Radion Load Balancing Server distributes the requests over the private network to the servers. The server then answers the requests and the Radion Load Balancing Server hands them back to your network. If a server were to go down, the Radion Load Balancing Server would mark it as failed and hand the request to any of the other live servers, keeping your services running smoothly. In addition, large amounts of server requests can be handled at once resulting in higher quality and performance service.

The Radion Load Balancing Server is available now, and can be ordered on the Rauch Medien Web site.
